Cleveland Bollard - CLB

The Cleveland decorative lighted bollard shall be aluminum, one-piece construction. The 18” diameter cast aluminum fluted base shall be constructed with a 6” diameter aluminum shaft. The model shall be Hinkley Architectural Lighting CLB series.

Construction
The base shall be designed with 16 curved flutes which gracefully slope to a decorative ring and be made of heavy wall, 356.2 alloy cast aluminum. It shall have a ¾” floor weld to become an integral part of the base. The extruded fluted shaft shall have 10 curved flutes and have a 0.125 wall thickness and shall be made of ASTM 6061 aluminum and tempered to a T6 hardness. The bollard cap will be cast aluminum. The overall height of the bollard shall be 47”. (For other heights and unlit versions, consult factory).*

Electrical
The optical assembly shall be constructed of ten fluted openings with a white acrylic lens. All electrical components shall be U.L. approved. H.I.D. ballasts shall be high power factor with lamp starting down to –30 degree F. Medium base porcelain sockets to be 4KV rated. The ballast/socket assembly shall be pre-wired and factory tested. Compact fluorescent ballast shall be instant start electronic with a starting temperature down to 0 degrees F. They shall have a 4-pin socket and support quad and triple tube lamps.

Finish
Thermoset polyester powdercoat is applied after a five stage conversion cleaning process. Total post assembly is shipped with foam shockproof wrapping and then fully enclosed in a corrugated carton.

Installation
Four, hot-dipped galvanized “L” type anchor bolts shall be provided with the post for anchorage. A door shall be provided for wiring and anchor bolt access. It shall be secured with two, tamper proof, stainless steel screws.
