MB28 Mailbox

The #11/2 Postal Service approved mailbox shall be constructed of smooth galvanized steel and shall have a saddle strap band.

Post Construction
The 3”straight smooth post shall be made of ASTM 6061 .125 extruded aluminum and tempered to a T6 hardness.

Post Top fitter and Mailbox holder Construction
The 3” diameter post fitter shall be made of 356.2 cast aluminum alloy. It shall be secured to the post top with four stainless steel set screws. The mailbox holder shall be constructed of formed .090 aluminum and secured with two stainless steel fasteners to the post fitter. The mailbox holder shall include a hook for mailers.

Pole Installation
The mailbox post is designed for direct bury installation. Check local building codes for installation in your area.

Finish
Thermoset polyester powdercoat is applied after a five stage conversion cleaning process. Total mailbox assembly is shipped with shockproof wrapping and then fully enclosed in a corrugated carton.
