MB80 Mailbox

The #1 Postal Service approved mailbox shall be constructed of ribbed galvanized steel.

Post Construction
The 3”straight smooth post shall be made of ASTM 6061 .050 extruded aluminum and tempered to a T6 hardness.

Post Top Cap and Mailbox holder Construction
The 3” diameter post top cap shall be made of 356.2 cast aluminum alloy. It shall be secured to the post top with four stainless steel set screws. The mailbox holder shall be constructed of formed .060 aluminum and secured with four stainless steel fasteners.

2 Piece Wrap Base Construction
The 70070 is 18”high and shall have a diameter of 8”and is a round base design that tapers to the fluted midsection, and shall be made of die cast aluminum. It shall be secured to the post by four stainless steel set screws and a shock absorbing foam base spacer.

Pole Installation
The mailbox post is designed for direct bury installation. Check local building codes for installation in your area.

Finish
Thermoset polyester powdercoat is applied after a five stage conversion cleaning process. Total mailbox assembly is shipped with shockproof wrapping and then fully enclosed in a corrugated carton.

One year limited warranty.
